Over the past decade, Artificial Intelligence (AI) has revolutionized numerous fields, and its potential is far from fully realized. Higher education is no exception, and the healthcare sector, in particular, stands to benefit significantly. Naturally, AI is driving major changes in medical education, affecting both formal curricula and informal learning activities alike. While the potential benefits of AI are vast, not everything that glitters is gold. There are challenges, potential pitfalls, and regulatory hurdles that must be navigated. Nevertheless, AI offers tools with unprecedented potential for transforming medical education. In this talk, we will explore the current state of AI in medical education and take a sneak peek at cutting- edge experimental developments in the field. While no one can predict exactly where this journey will lead, we will make sure that you are ready to jump on board and embrace the future of teaching and learning in medicine.
