In collaboration with Prof Dr. Dominik Petko, the Chair of Educational Psychology staff are currently implementing an innovative virtual reality environment in their courses that enables trainee teachers to practice teaching situations realistically and safely.
The immersive platform simulates complex teaching scenarios, allowing trainee teachers to develop their didactic and methodological skills in a targeted manner.
From the coming semester, ClassVRoom will be used in teacher training at the TUM School of Social Sciences to offer our students their first practical experience in a controlled and safe teaching environment.
About ClassVRoom
The ClassVRoom app, developed at the Institute of Educational Science at the University of Zurich under the direction of the Chair of Teaching and Educational Technology, was created in cooperation with the company ATEO.
