The Technical University of Munich (TUM) has developed a comprehensive strategy for using artificial intelligence (AI) in research, teaching, and administration.
The TUM AI strategy defines the framework for the responsible implementation and use of AI technologies along the following dimensions:
- Curriculum Integration
- AI-supported Learning Environments
- Research and Development
- Operations and Administrative Processes
- Ethics and Transparency
The strategy was developed together with experts from the schools, students, employees from central and decentralised institutions and the Vice Deans Information Management under the leadership of the Senior Vice President Digitalisation and IT Systems.
