RocketTutor is an intelligent AI-based tutoring system that helps students prepare for the math A-levels. The project has resulted in a start-up that continues to develop the tutor independently and sells it commercially. The original development and ongoing evaluation is done with the Chair of Mathematics Education at TUM.
Target Group
K-12 students, teachers.
Mission
The system uses web analytics and a modularised knowledge structure to generate active and passive learning data to identify relevant knowledge gaps and offer adaptive learner support. Taking learning data analysis and pedagogical methods into account, an AI algorithm creates personalized learning paths and learning content. This is intended to enable motivating, didactically well-founded, and systematic exam preparation in addition to lessons.
