Together with an interdisciplinary team of AI researchers and computer science didactics, our executive board member, Prof. Dr. Tilman Michaeli, recently published a professional introduction to Artificial Intelligence for teachers in German language.

It provides a methodological introduction to each focus area, such as problem-solving and search, machine learning, deep learning, or Generative AI, highlights relevant application areas, and gives suggestions for concrete implementation in the classroom. In addition, interdisciplinary references are made, and ethical and social references are discussed.

The book is primarily aimed at computer science teachers but is also relevant for teachers of other subjects who want to familiarize themselves with the technical foundations of AI.
